2014 Tax and Accounting Conference

Printed notebooks will not be distributed at this year’s conference. PowerPoint presentations, as well as supplemental session materials, will be available to attendees electronically approximately one week before the conference begins. We will provide wireless Internet access during conference sessions so you can access the conference materials through your laptop computer or tablet. Materials may be downloaded as individual sessions or as a single electronic version of the conference binder, which is viewable on your iPad, Kindle, or tablet.
We are also excited to offer our first-ever mobile app for this year’s Tax and Accounting Conference attendees. The app will give you the ability to view a wide variety of information about the conference, including general logistics, speaker information, schedule details, and session presentations. Downloading and installing the mobile app is easy and free for iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch), Android, and BlackBerry devices. More information about how to download the app will be available in September.
You may register online or complete the registration form and return it to the Institute with a check or money order. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Registrations will not be accepted by phone.
Cancellations received up to September 19, 2014, will be subject to a $150 administrative fee. Notices of cancellation must be received in writing. After September 19, 2014, we regret that no registration fees can be refunded.
*Associate members are limited to two conference registrations at the member rate.

Attendees may make reservations at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa at the special conference rate of $299 single/double plus taxes and resort fees, based on availability. The deadline to make reservations will be September 1, 2014.
An optional resort fee of $25 will be offered to guests upon check-in at the hotel and will include in-room Wi-Fi, long-distance phone calls, access to Revive Spa Health Club, use of resort tennis courts, use of resort driving range facilities, 10 percent off purchases in resort shops, self parking, two bottles of water in guest room per day, and complimentary meals in Blue Sage Restaurant for children under 12 years of age.
NOTE: Please disregard any third-party housing bureau solicitations for hotel rooms. The only way to book your reservation at the JW Marriott and receive the special conference rate is through the secure link provided by ICI.
Business casual dress is customary.
CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION (CPE) CREDIT
Upon completion of the 2014 Tax and Accounting Conference, each participant will be eligible for 14 hours of CPE credit.
The Investment Company Institute (ICI) is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.learningmarket.org.

No prerequisites or advance preparations are necessary for this conference.
Attendance: Due to NASBA recordkeeping requirements, your conference badge will be scanned automatically when you enter and exit conference sessions. Data collected by this process is used by ICI and will not be shared with any other organization for any purpose other than NASBA-required audits. CPE certificates will be available at the conference registration desk on Tuesday, September 30 and Wednesday, October 1.
