ICI Response to the SEC's Small Entity Definitions Proposal
The Investment Company Institute submitted a comment letter to the SEC, responding to its proposed amendments to the definitions of “small fund” and “small adviser” for purposes of the Regulatory Flexibility Act (RFA). The proposed amendments would increase the small fund threshold from $50 million to $10 billion, increase the small adviser threshold from $25 million to $1 billion, and introduce automatic periodic adjustments to the thresholds.
