Comment Letters

The Institute files, with fund industry regulators and other entities, comment letters expressing industry opinions on a wide range of issues that affect funds and their shareholders.

The Institute submits comments regularly to federal and state agencies such as the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Internal Revenue Service, and the National Association of State Securities Administrators, and also to self-regulatory organizations such as the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc.

The Institute also submits comments to foreign regulators and other entities on global and international issues that affect funds and their shareholder.
