China Approves New Mutual Fund Rules

Washington, DC, February 3, 1998 - The People's Republic of China approved new mutual fund rules on November 15, 1997. These rules, "Provisional Measures of the Administration of Securities Investment Funds," establish the regulatory framework for China's domestic mutual fund industry.
