Commissioner Hunt Addresses 1997 Investment Adviser Conference

Washington, DC, June 11, 1997 - SEC Commissioner Isaac Hunt spoke on June 6 at the Institute's 1997 Investment Adviser Conference. His speech, "Advertising Fund Performance: Public Policy Considerations," focused on whether, and under what circumstances, a fund should be permitted to advertise the performance of other similar accounts managed by the fund's investment advisory firm or individual portfolio manager.
